　　The Old Man's Long-cherished(長久珍惜的) Wish

　　An elderly(上年紀(jì)的) man on the beach found a magic lamp(燈). He picked it up and a genie appeared. "Because you have freed me," the genie said, "I will grant you a wish."

　　The man thought for a moment and then responded(回答): "My brother and I had a fight 30 years ago and he hasn't spoken to me since. I wish that he'll finally forgive(原諒) me.”

　　There was a thunderclap(雷聲), and the genie declared(宣告): "Your wish has been granted, you know." The genie continued: "Most men would have asked for wealth or fame.,but you only wanted the love of your brother. Is it because you are old and dying?"

　　"No!" The man cried, "But my brother is and he's worth about 60 million dollars."

英語基礎(chǔ)好的學(xué)員可以選擇強(qiáng)化課程、精品課程和高分班課程。這三類課程起點(diǎn)高，屬于短期強(qiáng)化課程，授課安排緊湊，考試技巧、復(fù)習(xí)技巧深度高，適合英語水平高的學(xué)員學(xué)習(xí)。在參加上述課程學(xué)習(xí)的同時，可選擇參加單項(xiàng)雅思口語班進(jìn)行口語的集中訓(xùn)練，寫作課后練習(xí)會有專門的老師進(jìn)行批改，迅速找到寫作中的問題并掌握寫作的技巧，擺脫范文困擾，真正寫出屬于自己的文章。

中等水平的學(xué)員可以選擇雅思基礎(chǔ)班課程及類似起點(diǎn)的班。這類班起點(diǎn)在高中和大專水平，屬于中期提高課程，適合范圍廣，聽、說、讀、寫各門課時安排均衡，是中等水平學(xué)員參加學(xué)習(xí)的最佳課程。在參加上述課程學(xué)習(xí)的同時，同樣可以選擇單項(xiàng)雅思口語班進(jìn)行口語的集中訓(xùn)練，同時可以試著寫一些短文、感想等文章，逐漸擺脫寫作和口語的困擾。

英語水平相對薄弱的學(xué)員可以選擇類似脫產(chǎn)班課程或預(yù)科班課程。這類課程起點(diǎn)在初中、高中水平，屬于長期基礎(chǔ)課程，在充裕的學(xué)習(xí)時間中，逐漸提高英語水平和雅思水平，在大量的課程學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)踐中，逐步鍛煉聽、說、讀、寫各項(xiàng)內(nèi)容，逐漸過渡到雅思專業(yè)知識的學(xué)習(xí)，邊學(xué)習(xí)、邊練習(xí)，最終達(dá)到與強(qiáng)化班相同的雅思學(xué)習(xí)效果。
