在做題的過程中，大家不知道有沒有遇到過類似這樣的情景，“這個(gè)單詞我明明認(rèn)真背誦過，但是放在文中這個(gè)句子里進(jìn)行理解，卻怎么解釋不通呢?”這是因?yàn)槲覀冊诒痴b單詞時(shí)，會(huì)習(xí)慣于經(jīng)驗(yàn)性地根據(jù)單詞最常見的意思來進(jìn)行記憶，當(dāng)然這種方式是值得肯定的，在大多數(shù)的情況下，單詞是以最常見的意思來呈現(xiàn)的。

不過有時(shí)候雅思閱讀的文本中，為了區(qū)分不同語言水平的考生，會(huì)提高一下難度，考察某些單詞的不常見的意思或用法，這就是我們所說的“熟詞僻義”。

1.Account

n. 賬戶，賬目
