在做題的過(guò)程中，大家不知道有沒(méi)有遇到過(guò)類似這樣的情景，“這個(gè)單詞我明明認(rèn)真背誦過(guò)，但是放在文中這個(gè)句子里進(jìn)行理解，卻怎么解釋不通呢?”這是因?yàn)槲覀冊(cè)诒痴b單詞時(shí)，會(huì)習(xí)慣于經(jīng)驗(yàn)性地根據(jù)單詞最常見(jiàn)的意思來(lái)進(jìn)行記憶，當(dāng)然這種方式是值得肯定的，在大多數(shù)的情況下，單詞是以最常見(jiàn)的意思來(lái)呈現(xiàn)的。

不過(guò)有時(shí)候雅思閱讀的文本中，為了區(qū)分不同語(yǔ)言水平的考生，會(huì)提高一下難度，考察某些單詞的不常見(jiàn)的意思或用法，這就是我們所說(shuō)的“熟詞僻義”。

1.Account

n. 賬戶，賬目
