給你介紹幾所美國的美術、設計類院校：首先說明：在美國沒有中央的領導學院存在，比如法國的國家高等美術學院、中國的中央美院。NY，LA，CHICAGO等在城市中都有一些不錯的藝術學院，但是算不上領導潮流的學府。美國在音樂教育上還有個朱利葉音樂學院可以說是全國第一的，原因是美國音樂人才集中在NY，它可以聘請樂團、歌劇院中的專家來兼任課程，以保證擁有世界最好的音樂家為教員。而藝術和設計上美國則沒有一個城市有這樣的權威地位，全國也沒有具有領導性和獨一無二地位的高等教育學府。所謂杰出的藝術院校，也僅僅是就某個專業(yè)而言的。美國藝術設計中心學院（Artcentercollegeofdeisgn）1930年成立，是美國目前在設計上最權威的學院，其汽車和交通工具設計系、數(shù)碼設計專業(yè)、插畫系、平面設計系、娛樂設計等，在全世界具有領先水平。該學校要求新生在入學之前有一定的設計經(jīng)驗或者大學學歷，所以學生的平均年齡偏高，一年級新生的平均年齡為24歲。加里福利亞藝術學院（CaliforniaInstituteofthearts）這原本是由迪斯尼集團投資興建的非贏利性高等藝術學院，是目前美國最前衛(wèi)的純藝術學院之一。它一共包括五個學院：音樂、戲劇、舞蹈、電影、藝術，并且是美國高等藝術學院中擁有藝術評論系的極少數(shù)院校之一。奧帝斯藝術與設計學院（Otiscollegeofart&design）1992年改為現(xiàn)名，和parsonsschoolofdesign徹底分開。該學院曾一度是加洲很好的藝術學院，由于管理問題，目前已經(jīng)逐步衰退。藝術學院（academyofartcollege）是一家商業(yè)性或者是“贏利性”的藝術學校，所謂商業(yè)性，是指學院的運作目的在于商業(yè)利潤，因此入學標準低，容易進入，學校把通過教育得到的利潤進行其他方面的投資，在美國藝術教育界中，這類的學院不算是正規(guī)的藝術學院。芝加哥藝術學院（SchooloftheArtInstituteofChicago）芝加哥最重要的藝術學院，在美國有很高的地位。上個世紀三十年代由于法西斯上臺，現(xiàn)代主義在歐洲遭到扼殺，大批現(xiàn)代主義大師移居美國，德國現(xiàn)代主義藝術教育的中心--包豪藝術學院的主要教員和大批學生都來到美國，他們不但帶來了現(xiàn)在主義的思想，同時也帶來了現(xiàn)代主義的藝術和設計教學新體系。美國的不少美術學院開始設置新課，對于傳統(tǒng)的素描、靜物、人體教學也進行了改革。其中最切底的例子就是*芝加哥藝術學院*，1938年由包豪斯的中堅人物拉茲羅。摩霍里。納吉建成的，學院全面貫徹包豪斯體系，完全改變了芝加哥以往藝術教育的方式。
