；一般如果要區(qū)別他們的不同，比如說(shuō)爸爸這邊的兄弟 (伯伯及叔叔)分別為:；This uncle is my father's younger brother.；這是我爸爸的弟弟(叔叔)。；This uncle is my father's older brother.；這是我爸爸的哥哥(伯伯)。；These uncles are from my father's side.；這幾位(叔父；伯父)是我父親這邊的(兄弟/親戚)。；媽媽這邊的兄弟都稱(chēng)呼舅舅，而英文區(qū)別(例子)為:；Uncle Tom is my mom's younger brother.；湯姆舅舅是我母親的弟弟。；That uncle is my mother's older brother; my oldest uncle.；那位舅舅是我母親的哥哥，我的大舅父。；These uncles are from my mother's side. ；這幾位舅舅是我我母親這邊的(兄弟/親戚)。；所以舅舅用英文介紹一般稱(chēng)呼 uncle 即可，而若有人問(wèn)起則可補(bǔ)充說(shuō)是 from my mother side of the family，或簡(jiǎn)易一點(diǎn)說(shuō) from my mother's side，或 my mom's brother，那麼對(duì)方就會(huì)瞭解了。
