簡介

合成的方位詞由單純詞以下列方式構(gòu)成：

（a）前邊加“以”或“之”。如，以上（Above）、之下（Under）。

（b）后邊加“邊”、“面”、“頭”。如：前邊、左面，里頭。

（c）對舉。如，上下、前后、里外。

（d）其他。如，底下、頭里、當(dāng)中。

在古代，方位詞也用另外一種表示，即：

青龍的方位是東，代表春季；

朱雀的方位是南，代表夏季；

白虎的方位是西，代表秋季；

玄武的方位是北，代表冬季。
