澳門大學簡稱澳大（http://www.umac.mo/），是澳門第一所現代大學，也是澳門唯一的公立綜合性大學。澳門大學前身為由香港、澳門、東南亞等地的知名人士資助開辦，1981年3月28日創(chuàng)立的私立東亞大學。澳門大學在澳門是具有公允口碑的尖端學府。校園位于澳門氹仔島。2010 年12月20澳門大學新校區(qū)在珠海經濟特區(qū)的橫琴島開工建設。2013年11月5日，澳門大學新校區(qū)已經正式啟用。

澳門大學橫琴新校區(qū)實行澳門的法律和制度，歸澳門特別行政區(qū)管轄，與澳門氹仔島之間由一條專門的海底隧道連接，從珠海橫琴島不可以直接進入澳門大學橫琴校區(qū)。澳大屆時將整體搬入橫琴新校區(qū)，其老校區(qū)僅會保留幾棟樓作教學之用，其余設施由澳門政府回購。

澳門大學設有工商管理學院、教育學院、法學院、社會科學及人文學院、健康科學學院和科技學院。另設有研究生院、榮譽學院、中華醫(yī)藥研究院、英語中心、持續(xù)進修中心、澳門研究中心及亞太經濟與管理研究所等。

澳門大學提供文憑、高等專科學位、學士學位、學位后、碩士學位、博士學位、一年制葡萄牙語言及文化課程等100多個學位課程。授課語言以英語為主。
