從加州大學(xué)伯克利的建筑學(xué)本科課程來看，大一大二會(huì)學(xué)到少量的藝術(shù)，建筑，設(shè)計(jì)等課程，大部分課程是關(guān)于通識(shí)教育寬度課程，比如數(shù)學(xué)，物理，以及其他的能夠代表通識(shí)教育的課程。在大三大四的時(shí)候，才會(huì)集中進(jìn)行建筑學(xué)專業(yè)課程的學(xué)習(xí)。因此這就要求我們在社區(qū)學(xué)院學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)，除了學(xué)一部分與建筑設(shè)計(jì)有關(guān)的課程外，其他的課程需要放開思路，廣泛涉獵，不局限專業(yè)。
