Menai High School is a seco ndary school located in Menai, a suburb in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, New South Wales, Australia.

Menai High School is a large modern, comprehensive co-educatio nal school serving Menai, Alfords Point, Illawong and surrounding suburbs in Sydney's Sutherland Shire.

The school prides itself on the wide range of subjects and quality of teaching offered to students, a caring approach to student welfare, innovative approaches to learning and the use of technology in learning. An active School Council, P&C and experienced committed staff support whole school initiatives in literacy, technology and vocatio nal education. Co-operative team leadership, strong welfare strategies and comprehensive training and development strategies for staff and students underpin school and individual achievement.

Curriculum

Menai High school has a successful sporting background, with many teams participating in regio nal competitions. Other extracurricular activities supported by the school include an agricultural farm, debating, drama and music. The school has also participated in a variety of cultural celebration events, such as in 2006, when the Beverly Hills Intensive English centre visited Menai High School. As part of a cultural exchange program, the event, with performing arts exchanges and food stalls, ultimately aimed at addressing racism and tolerance.
