Tempe High School caters to individual talents and abilities by providing a high quality education through our selective, enrichment and comprehensive streams. Our students have a wide variety of opportunities. They interact and learn within a diverse and stimulating enviro nment that focuses on supporting each student and encouraging success for all.

Our dedicated, enthusiastic, caring teachers and support staff provide innovative academic, sporting and cultural programs. Well-resourced computer laboratories and excellent career enhancement opportunities, including strong l inks with University and TAFE, equip our students for future success.

We work in close partnership with our parents and community to make Tempe High School a welcoming and friendly school. Our peer support, pastoral care and mentoring programs ensure our students build social skills, feel cared for and valued in school and their wider community.

Tempe High School is well serviced by transport l inks. We are located between Tempe and Sydenham Railway Stations and on both government and private bus routes. We are proud of our tradition in providing a quality education ba sed on excellence, innovation and opportunity that caters to every student.
Sport and physical activity is a valued and accepted part of our school's curriculum, co ntributing to the development of the whole child. It provides a vehicle for social, physical, emotio nal and moral learning and is an im portant ex pression of our culture.

The participation, enjoyment and skill development of our students is the corner-stone of the school sport/ physical activity program. All our students take part in this program.
