Coolum Beach Christian College currently has over 220 enrolled students.The College is divided into Primary, Middle and Senior school on the same campus.Our modern curriculum is founded on Christian values and features an emphasis on the development of each individual.

Coolum Beach Christian College allows excellent opportunities for children to succeed in a safe and nurturing environment. Each student is encouraged to reach their potential in a caring and loving enviro nment of acceptance. Our behaviour management strategy presents students with clear boundaries and expectations enabling students to take ownership of their choices.

Distinctive Characteristics

As a new college the facilities at the school are co ntinuing expanding with recent additions of a new Science Laboratory, Home Eco nomics area, Library and Indoor Sport and Performing Arts building. These large rooms are easily able to accommodate all of the learning experiences that are expected in a modern educatio nal facility.

The College has a very reaso nable student to teacher ratio. Progressive, architecturally designed, air co nditioned buildings are placed in a delightful rural setting. Landscaping is of a very high standard with an emphasis on enviro nmental sustainability

Tertiary Pathways

Students currently completing Year 12 at Coolum Beach Christian College are able to apply for entry into Australian universities by sitting an SAT test. From 2013 Year 12 students will enter university via the Queensland OP system.

All the facilities at the College have been specifically designed to provide the best enviro nment possible for learning, maximised natural lighting and ventilation, harvested rain water, leaving a minimal enviro nmental footprint.

Coolum Beach Christian College holds annual Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnivals. Aside from it’s dynamic sports program including surfing and golfing options and regular interschool sport activities students are eligible to compete for positions in all District teams.
