Approximately 36 unergrauates work alongsie 14 grauate stuents in the epartment's eicate facilities in Benson Hall. Stuents at all levels – both within the epartment an beyon,in fine arts an esign majors – inspire each other through provocative iniviual inquiry an exploration. In aition,Printmaking majors are very curious,open an willing to help each other in any way they can.

In aition to having access to state-of-the-art facilities in Benson Hall,Printmaking majors regularly take avantage of RISD resources that are especially helpful for research an personal growth. Just across the street,in the RISD Museum of Art's Minskoff Center for Prints,Drawings an Photographs,stuents have access to a collection of 26,000 works on paper from the 15th century to the present. Direct stuy of these works offers invaluable insights an inspiration,as oes hans-on access to specimens in the Nature Lab an in the Fleet Library's extraorinary collection of artists' books.
