本文是陸本JD申請者在哈佛、芝加哥、西北和康奈爾這幾所Top法學(xué)院面試的面經(jīng)，以及2018年明尼蘇達(dá)最新的LLM項目面試者收集的相應(yīng)題庫。其中芝加哥、西北和康奈爾的題庫已經(jīng)覆蓋得相當(dāng)全面了。各位今年的申請者不僅可以將其作為以上四幾所法學(xué)院面試的必看指南，也可以作為其他法學(xué)院面試的參考。而各位未來的申請者也可以閱讀并思考如果是自己，會做出怎樣的回答。

哈佛大學(xué)法學(xué)院面試經(jīng)驗

據(jù)網(wǎng)上資料顯示，哈佛法學(xué)院是T3里唯一在錄取前需要面試的法學(xué)院(未考證)。似乎通常情況下在提交申請后一個月左右發(fā)送面試通知。面試通過Skype，by invitation only。登錄面試通知的郵件里的鏈接所導(dǎo)向的頁面，填入部分個人信息后即預(yù)約時間。建議收到郵件后盡快預(yù)約面試時間。每個申請者只能從特定天數(shù)的特定時間段內(nèi)選擇面試時間，并且每一個時間段都只有特定數(shù)量的申請者可進(jìn)行預(yù)約(因為一共只有七個面試人員，均來自admission office)。

哈佛法學(xué)院申請基本流程：

2016年11月17日通過LSAC提交申請，12月14日收到面試邀請，并同日預(yù)約12月20日東部時間13:40的面試。

面試準(zhǔn)備過程：

基本以“HLS interview”在Google上進(jìn)行檢索，得到的多數(shù)信息均表示面試總體而言是過簡歷，比較個人化。所以如果你對自己的整體申請材料(PS，transcript，recommendation，resume)了熟于心，那已經(jīng)自然完成了80%的準(zhǔn)備。

如果預(yù)約的面試時間距離當(dāng)下還有數(shù)天，可以找朋友進(jìn)行模擬面試(同時也是一個很好的檢測電腦，麥克風(fēng)以及Skype是否存在故障的機會)。似乎并不存在Question Pool，因為HLS的面試的確是針對每個申請者量身定做，而每個人的申請內(nèi)容都有其特質(zhì)。所以更建議打印一份簡歷和PS，想象自己是面試官，有可能針對這份簡歷和PS提出什么通過其他的申請材料所無法回答的問題(就個人面試經(jīng)歷而言，面試官的確認(rèn)真地閱讀了我的申請材料，所有問題都是無法直接從面試材料中獲得的，當(dāng)然所有問題都不難回應(yīng))。

當(dāng)然，還是有一個問題一定會被問及：do you have any question for me? 通常在面試即將結(jié)束時，面試官會允許你問他/她1-4個問題。個人理解可以問任何問題，法學(xué)院數(shù)據(jù)，學(xué)生活動，種種，但可能與自身發(fā)展相關(guān)的問題更適合這樣的面試場合。此外問How而不是What更容易讓面試官覺得是好問題。不用擔(dān)心問的過于復(fù)雜。也不用擔(dān)心問得超出面試官了解范圍(只要問題是關(guān)于HLS的他們都知道答案)。

面試經(jīng)過：

哈佛法學(xué)院會在面試預(yù)約時間前一天通過Skype把你添加為contact。如果屆時沒有收到HLS添加請求，可能是你給的Skype用戶名有誤，建議務(wù)必核對，并和哈佛法學(xué)院及時溝通。

我在面試時間開始前一個小時就打開Skype頁面，并坐在電腦前重新回顧自己的申請材料。建議務(wù)必在面試開始前檢查網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接以及Skype運行情況，雖然哈佛法學(xué)院表示不會因為技術(shù)故障而懲罰你，但在最后時刻發(fā)生這類問題總體還是不太愉快。

哈佛法學(xué)院晚于面試時間五分鐘給我撥打Skype video call(它的admission blog上也說有時他們會晚，所以只要哈佛法學(xué)院已經(jīng)加你為contact以及你的網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接沒有問題，沒有準(zhǔn)點收到Skype call也不要緊張)。

面試官非常友好，美國人的日常寒暄(how are you之類的)之后就進(jìn)入正題。所有問題的確是針對簡歷，并且無法從申請材料中直接獲得。不會追問，所以哪怕回答得不是很完美也不會很狼狽。個人回憶的面試問題如下：

1. Tell me a little bit about your degree thesis.

2. Why Harvard.

3. Do you plan to stay in the U.S. to go back to China after completing your JD studies.

4. Most impactful experience at your undergrad college.

5. How would your friends describe you.

6. Anything you want me to know?

7. Any questions for me?

【問題1是申請者個人化的問題，即畢業(yè)論文。陸老師個人覺得問題3有點tricky但應(yīng)該不會占太大權(quán)重，還是要緊扣PS。如果PS表示了回國愿望那就按照PS。如果沒有特別的傾向可以回答根據(jù)情況而定。本段不構(gòu)成任何針對任何法學(xué)院面試中此類問題的回答建議。】

面試一共持續(xù)14分鐘 (面試普遍持續(xù)10-15分鐘)。似乎長短并不代表錄取的概率大小。

總體而言，個人感覺HLS面試并不是檢測性的，不會對你提出刁鉆的問題刻意為難你。只需要了解申請材料，保持淡定，誠實回答，并且看電腦攝像頭，面試就不會傷害你。

芝加哥法學(xué)院的面經(jīng)和題庫

我在十二月初提交申請，一月中旬收到面試通知，并于一月二十五號中部時間中午十一點進(jìn)行了持續(xù)時間為二十分鐘的面試。面試人員應(yīng)該來自Admission Committee。芝加哥法學(xué)院有在網(wǎng)站上說明面試人員會于面試時間提前幾分鐘通過Skype提交contact request，所以建議于面試時間開始前二十分鐘即打開Skype等待添加請求。添加后對方會立刻開始面試。

基于個人面試經(jīng)歷，AC的確基本從List中找問題，并且有些問題比較隨機，即便你認(rèn)為自己在申請材料中已經(jīng)說明清楚，對方可能依然會提問。比如我的PS里用了很大篇幅說明了Why Law，但芝加哥法學(xué)院面試官依然問了Why Law。。

除了List中的問題，我在面試中還被提問了一個與簡歷高度相關(guān)的個人問題，一個what can you bring to UChicago Law, 以及一個非常具有難度的問題：can you think of any social issue (in any society) and a solution for it? 遇到任何比較難的問題時，可以用一點時間思考清楚再回答，效果可能比立刻開始說但中間支吾更好，TLS上也有往屆面試者說AC更加欣賞思路清晰的回答。

西北大學(xué)和康奈爾法學(xué)院

Kira Talent面試題

西北和Cornell都是用同一個網(wǎng)絡(luò)面試系統(tǒng)(陸老師注：Kira Talent)，面試之前可以進(jìn)行模擬。然后面試有六道題。西北的我碰到全部是口語問答 (每道題30秒準(zhǔn)備，1分鐘回答，可提前結(jié)束回答)，Cornell三道口語問答三道書面問答。

Kira Talent是一個網(wǎng)絡(luò)面試系統(tǒng)，分為視頻面試和筆試部分，最終對申請者做出綜合評價。該面試系統(tǒng)是JD申請者被錄取的重要參考因素。當(dāng)然，這樣的面試也是有題庫的。本文就是申請者通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)和自己的面試總結(jié)出的題庫，比網(wǎng)上流傳的都要全，值得各位申請者好好練習(xí)。

西北大學(xué)法學(xué)院的題庫：

西北的題庫, 是西北30題和我在reddit和tls上搜索的整合版，比30題全。面試的時候只有一道題是這里沒有的(最后一道)：

1. How did you make the decision to attend your undergraduate school?

2. How did you choose your major? Did you enter with the same major you graduated with?

3. As we look at your transcripts, will we notice any trends in your grades or any classes that were a struggle, or were your grades consistent all the way through?

4. What was your favorite class in college and why?

6. What was your most difficult class in college and why?

7. Describe the main extracurricular activities in which you were involved.

44. (2018)分享一個曾經(jīng)敵對關(guān)系之后關(guān)系緩和矛盾關(guān)系變好的事例。

另據(jù)其他面試者表示，他沒遇到任何一題。西北的面試非常靈活 提前做準(zhǔn)備基本行不通，他的個人建議是睡好午覺，感覺非常良好地去面試。 相對準(zhǔn)備題目更應(yīng)該準(zhǔn)備好對于網(wǎng)上面試的狀態(tài)，比如在測試時 注意一下你的眼神定位點、你的背景圖是否干凈, 始終保持眼神聚焦可以讓你看起來更加自信一點。建議穿正裝或者business casual，因為西北喜歡職業(yè)感強烈的。供參考。

康奈爾三十題：

口語問答(每道題一分鐘，同西北)全部是這里面的，基本一字不變。書面問答不是這里的題。好像也沒人整理。不知道是不是今年的新形式。

書面問題有三道題 (每一道題有5分鐘)：

1. As cyber attacks have become a central issue in this presidential election, what do you think law can do to address cyber security?

2. What suggestions would you give to a prelaw student?

3. In some countries, voting is mandatory. Do you think the U.S. can benefit from mandatory voting?

2018明尼蘇達(dá)LLM項目面試經(jīng)驗

面試預(yù)計時長15分鐘，問題內(nèi)容主要圍繞PS和個人簡歷來展開，熟悉自己的文書內(nèi)容是重中之重。從律政學(xué)員面試提供的信息來看，思路新穎、文書開篇不落俗套是贏得招生官好感的加分項，所以建議大家在文書創(chuàng)作過程中可以多去關(guān)注生活中的細(xì)節(jié)，多去探尋自己內(nèi)心的聲音，用屬于自己的故事打動招生官，從眾多申請者中脫穎而出。面試問題如下：
