The portfolio should consist of a maximum of 15 samples of the applicant’s own work.possible are drawings and photographs that show the applicant’s areas of interest and conceptual abilities and if applicable the quality and focus of the previously attended study course.

The portfolio must not contain:

Details concerning the portfolio

Together the portfolio and the project outline must not exceed the format DIN A3.The portfolio should show the quality and area of interest of previous works as well as the applicant’s individual interests and conceptual abilities.

Additional audio-visual work samples can be handed in on DVD or CD in the following formats: .avi / .mp4 / .mov. Or they can be made available via YouTube or vimeo.

The project outline should describe the applicant’s project drawing on the thematic focus area of the Master programme. It should be approx.. 3 pages long.

? Artistic talent is required

? Minimum age 18 years

? General matriculation standard / general cer-tificate of secondary education

? preliminary practical or vocational training

? For international applicants: Sufficient know-ledge of written and spoken German has to be proved (DSH-2 or Test-DaF-4)

? Submission of approximately 10 to 20 perso-nally produced artistic works (mainly drawings and other specimens in a portfolio,no three-di-mensional works) and a homework. Admission to the test will be decided upon after examina-tion of these works (preselection).

? A 2 to 3-day exam for proving the required aptitude.

? An interview concerning,as a rule,the eva-luation of the artistic achievements shown as well as the technical skills and motivation of the participants.
