1.搭配混淆

cannot help

I cannot help wondering about that girl.

cannot help but

Due to the present price level, we cannot help but adjust our offer.

2.時態(tài)錯誤

The quantity of women workers keep stable from 1985 to 1990.

這個句子是小作文數(shù)據(jù)圖中學(xué)生所寫。此句明顯有兩個錯誤，一個是時態(tài)錯誤。小作文中如果數(shù)據(jù)是過去的，要采用一般過去時，所以此處要用kept.。第二個是動詞 keep形式不對，這句話的主語是quantity。時態(tài)錯誤和主謂不一致是雅思考試寫作和口語最常見的語法錯誤。

3.主謂錯誤

Playing computer games waste parents’ hard-earned money.

這句話是經(jīng)典的主謂不一致的錯誤。主句是playing computer games 動名詞做主語，所以謂語動詞要用單數(shù)加s。在寫一個現(xiàn)在時的句子時，一定要注意主謂一致問題。主語是否是可數(shù)名詞單數(shù)、不可數(shù)名詞、動名詞、不定式或是句子。如果是，并且句子中又沒有使用情態(tài)動詞，謂語動詞要加s。

4.定語錯誤

With developing of economy， the environment had deteriorated.

這里用了一個with 介詞+名詞短語，想表達(dá)伴隨的概念。但是大家要牢記介詞后邊可以加名詞、名詞短語、動名詞，構(gòu)成介詞短語以便做狀語或者定語。但是developing of economy詞性有問題。A of B是常見的表示所屬的名詞短語格式，翻譯成B的 A, 這里要求 A和B必須都是名詞。而developing 是形容詞性質(zhì)，所以應(yīng)該改為 with the development of economy.。同樣，我們還可以把with替換成as, 但是值得注意的是as 是連詞，連詞后邊要加句子，所以可以寫成as the economy develops。

5.非謂語動詞使用不當(dāng)

原：Comparing with the money people earns， the sense of achievement is more important。

改：Compared with the money people earns， the sense of achievement is more important。

評：此處是動詞compare的現(xiàn)在分詞和過去分詞使用混淆了。在英語中，動詞的現(xiàn)在分詞往往表示的是主動的意思，過去分詞則表示被動的含義。原句想表達(dá)的是“將成就感與錢相比”，“把…與…相比”是明顯的被動含義，因此應(yīng)該使用compared。

6.語序錯誤

從句不使用疑問句語序，而使用陳述句語序，即主語在前，謂語在后的順序排列。

錯例1：Can you tell me how many students are there in this class?

正解：Can you tell me how many studentsthere arein this class?

7.主語從句錯誤

University students receive training on job-related skills is necessary.

又是一句讀起來朗朗上口，受漢語語意影響的句子。這個句子中有 receive 和 is 兩個動詞，但是沒有涉及到從句。university students receive training on job-related skills 已經(jīng)是個完整的句子，所以要用形式主語從句 it is necessary that university students receive training on job-related skills.

8.同義詞錯用

原句：It’s indeed that people are worrying about the increasing population。

改：It’s true that people are worrying about the increasing population。

評：雖然二者都表示“真的”，indeed卻沒有it’s indeed that…的結(jié)構(gòu)，此處只能用true來表示。

9.比較錯誤

The number of female students in this university is higher than male students.

比較成份要一致。這句前邊主語是the number， 后邊比較對象是male students，所以正確的方式是 The number of female students in this university is higher than the number of male students. 或者The number of female students in this university is higher than that of male students.

10.固定搭配錯誤

原句：As a friend and mentor， she drew from humor， a beautiful spirit and her faith in the Aboriginal culture to accomplish her work。

改：As a friend and mentor， she drew on humor， a beautiful spirit and her faith in the Aboriginal culture to accomplish her work。

評：draw from： 從……中汲取(經(jīng)驗等)， draw on：借鑒(經(jīng)驗等)作者本想使用一個高級的表達(dá)法，結(jié)果用錯了，很可惜。
