Approximately 35 unergrauate stuents working with all types of materials an techniques share stuio spaces an specialize equipment in RISD's Metcalf Builing. Faculty members are reaily available to provie focuse,iniviual attention both in class an as stuents work on their own in the stuio. The ozen gra stuents in the epartment enrich the iscourse,contributing to a reay exchange of ieas.
