相信有些同學(xué)已經(jīng)收到EA/ED大學(xué)錄取的好消息，并苦惱要選擇哪一所學(xué)校，在此先恭喜你們喔！

但是還是有一些同學(xué)可能被EA/ED的學(xué)校eferre或拒絕，也請不要失望。EA/ED的申請本身就比較激烈，但學(xué)校只能開放一定的錄取名額。因此并不是你自己本身學(xué)術(shù)或課外活動不夠好，只是學(xué)校以目前的名額做策略性的錄取而已。

Defining College Deferrals

首先，什么是College Deferrals? Deferral通常是指你的申請還沒結(jié)束，學(xué)校在EA/ED的環(huán)節(jié)覺得你的申請材料不錯(cuò)，但是提前申請的名額有限，因此把你的申請文件推送至一般申請環(huán)節(jié)重新審閱，這時(shí)候?qū)?2年級的成績與額外的課外活動一并考量進(jìn)去。通常將會在三月或四月時(shí)取得最后錄取通知。

如果你是Early Decision (ED)申請被推送，那你的資格將會被從BiningCommitment限制條約中被解除。

有時(shí)候?qū)W生會覺得申請文件被退送至一般申請環(huán)節(jié)會很沮喪，但是申老師要鼓勵(lì)大家這并不代表完全沒有希望了。你的申請文件仍然在審理階段，下面我提供一些小技巧可以增加一些錄取的機(jī)率。

****如果你仍然對于此大學(xué)有相當(dāng)大的興趣，這時(shí)候你可以提供額外的資料去讓學(xué)校知道為什么你如此喜歡這所學(xué)校與你將會提供什么材料與證明。請記住，這時(shí)候所使用的語言需要以尊重的語氣說明，同時(shí)表現(xiàn)自己的熱誠但又不失禮節(jié)。

1.詳細(xì)閱讀Deferral Letter內(nèi)的說明

請?jiān)敿?xì)的閱讀信件上的說明，遵守信上的規(guī)定與步驟。請記住，如有些學(xué)校要求“ you shoul not sen in any aitional information”時(shí)，請就不要再寄送任何新文件。
