相信有些同學(xué)已經(jīng)收到EA/ED大學(xué)錄取的好消息，并苦惱要選擇哪一所學(xué)校，在此先恭喜你們喔！

但是還是有一些同學(xué)可能被EA/ED的學(xué)校eferre或拒絕，也請(qǐng)不要失望。EA/ED的申請(qǐng)本身就比較激烈，但學(xué)校只能開(kāi)放一定的錄取名額。因此并不是你自己本身學(xué)術(shù)或課外活動(dòng)不夠好，只是學(xué)校以目前的名額做策略性的錄取而已。

Defining College Deferrals

首先，什么是College Deferrals? Deferral通常是指你的申請(qǐng)還沒(méi)結(jié)束，學(xué)校在EA/ED的環(huán)節(jié)覺(jué)得你的申請(qǐng)材料不錯(cuò)，但是提前申請(qǐng)的名額有限，因此把你的申請(qǐng)文件推送至一般申請(qǐng)環(huán)節(jié)重新審閱，這時(shí)候?qū)?huì)把12年級(jí)的成績(jī)與額外的課外活動(dòng)一并考量進(jìn)去。通常將會(huì)在三月或四月時(shí)取得最后錄取通知。

如果你是Early Decision (ED)申請(qǐng)被推送，那你的資格將會(huì)被從BiningCommitment限制條約中被解除。

有時(shí)候?qū)W生會(huì)覺(jué)得申請(qǐng)文件被退送至一般申請(qǐng)環(huán)節(jié)會(huì)很沮喪，但是申老師要鼓勵(lì)大家這并不代表完全沒(méi)有希望了。你的申請(qǐng)文件仍然在審理階段，下面我提供一些小技巧可以增加一些錄取的機(jī)率。

****如果你仍然對(duì)于此大學(xué)有相當(dāng)大的興趣，這時(shí)候你可以提供額外的資料去讓學(xué)校知道為什么你如此喜歡這所學(xué)校與你將會(huì)提供什么材料與證明。請(qǐng)記住，這時(shí)候所使用的語(yǔ)言需要以尊重的語(yǔ)氣說(shuō)明，同時(shí)表現(xiàn)自己的熱誠(chéng)但又不失禮節(jié)。

1.詳細(xì)閱讀Deferral Letter內(nèi)的說(shuō)明

請(qǐng)?jiān)敿?xì)的閱讀信件上的說(shuō)明，遵守信上的規(guī)定與步驟。請(qǐng)記住，如有些學(xué)校要求“ you shoul not sen in any aitional information”時(shí)，請(qǐng)就不要再寄送任何新文件。

2.寄送補(bǔ)充文書(shū)

3.安排額外面試 (如需要)

有時(shí)候?qū)W校在之前EA/ED申請(qǐng)環(huán)節(jié)內(nèi)提供面試機(jī)會(huì)但未參加者，這時(shí)可以安排面試，面試者將會(huì)提供最新的反饋給學(xué)校招生處。

I recently receive the isappointing news that I was enie amissioninto USC. Unerstanably,with over 56,000 applicants,I know there were manyincreible applicants making it a ifficult ecision to choose whom to amit,which is why I’m grateful to be consiere after reviewing the new informationbelow.
